Maintenance / Grounds Supervisor - Office / Manager - Nashville, TN

TBN Nashville is seeking a Maintenance/Grounds Supervisor to assist with day-to-day operations. The Maintenance/Grounds Supervisor will report to the Station Manager and be responsible for - but not limited to - the following:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interface with Maintenance and Janitorial contractors/vendors, as well as Grounds contractors
  • Interface with necessary contractors regarding repairs/construction
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Inspect buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair, making notes and recommendations.
  • Perform minor HVAC maintenance that includes – but is not limited to – replacing filters, programming thermostats, etc….
  • Perform minor electrical maintenance that includes – but is not limited to – replacement or repair of fixtures (i.e. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc..) using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools.
  • Perform minor plumbing maintenance (i.e. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying new lines, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc…)
  • Perform minor painting, carpentry and masonry work (i.e. preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes; hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc…) as well as surfaces, structures, and equipment (i.e. walls, refrigerators, evaporative coolers, floors, roofs, doors, restroom facilities, etc…) to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion and maintain a safe, comfortable working environment using various painting equipment and related tools (i.e. sprayers, rollers, brushes, thinners, etc…).
  • Perform simple landscaping work
  • Multiple vehicle dispersing and upkeep
  • Interface and schedule contract security and housekeeping personnel
  • Business related errands as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by Station Manager

Qualifications

This individual will be responsible for all activities associated with distribution, promotion, and creation of compelling

content for TBN’s video on demand platform and report to the Director of Marketing.  The ideal candidate would enjoy working with the marketing team to help continue building a strong, consistent following that aligns with the organization's goals and visions.
